Minimum System Requirements (LAN)

The following are the minimum system requirements needed to install Destination Success™ LMS4 LAN. If your system does not meet these requirements, Destination Success™ LMS4 LAN may not operate correctly.
Server Operating System
- Windows® 2000 Server or Windows® Server 2003 with latest service packs
- Apple® OS 10.4 Server
Note: Windows® Server 2008, Windows® Server 2008 R2, Apple® OS 10.5 or 10.6 Server not supported
Minimum Windows® Server Specifications
- Single or Dual Pentium® III 450 MHz or better
- 512 MB RAM or greater
- 16X CD-ROM drive
- 300 MB free disk space plus an additional 250 MB free disk space per installed course
- SCSI drives recommended; RAID 1 or RAID 5
- 100BaseT or higher network card
- 100 Mbps network backbone minimum
Minimum Apple® Server Specifications
- Single or Dual G4/G5
- 512 MB RAM or greater
- 16X CD-ROM drive
- 300 MB free disk space plus an additional 250 MB free disk space per installed course
- SCSI drives recommended; RAID 1 or RAID 5
- 100BaseT or higher network card
- 100 Mbps network backbone minimum
Mimimum Windows® Client Specifications
- Windows® 98 SE, Windows® 2000, Windows® XP (with latest service packs)
- Pentium® III 733 MHz or better
- 128 MB RAM or greater
- 10BaseT network card or higher
- Internet Explorer® 6.0 or Netscape 7.0 or greater, Mozilla Firefox 1.5 or greater
- Macromedia® Flash™ Player 8 or higher
- Adobe® Acrobat Reader 5
- Cookies enabled in browser
- JavaScript enabled
- 800 x 600, High Color (16-bit) display
- SoudBlaster 16 sound card or compatible (headphones recommended)

- Mac OS® X 10.2 or higher
- G4-350 MHz or higher
- 128 MB RAM or higher
- 10BaseT network card or higher
- Netscape 7.0 or greater, Mozilla Firefox 1.5 or greater, Safari 2.0 or greater
- Macromedia® Flash™ Player 8 or higher
- Adobe® Acrobat Reader 5
- Cookies enabled in browser
- 800 x 600, thousands of colors display
- Standard Macintosh Sound (headphones recommended)
Network
- 250 Kbps per user
- For WAN connectivity, T1 minimum; Fiber, ATM, or Gigabit backbone preferred
- For building network, 10/100 switched; 100 Mb recommended
